Production Timeline

In 2012 we established ActsOfWitness Pictures as an LLC and registered the project with SAG/AFTRA as a short film project.

In the second half of 2012 we self-funded the production of the first act, “The Dress.”  We paid all cast (SAG/AFTRA) and crew, a commitment that was important to us.  Having this first third of our film in hand allowed us to show the production quality we were capable of and the direction of our story.

Through the first third of 2013 we built this ActsOfWitness website as the main information portal and cornerstone of our fundraising.  In conjunction with this website we launched a successful Kickstarter campaign and a direct email campaign which provided us with enough funds to shoot acts two and three.

In August of 2013 we shot out the second and third acts of our film, again honoring our commitment to pay cast and crew.

Through the end of 2013 and into 2014 we pressed forward with post production through a lengthy visual edit.  We then laid in the sweetened audio and composed soundtrack.  Now we have a finished film.
